1. What information do we collect?

Registration: name and email address (email sign-up or Google Sign-In)
Onboarding (optional): your study goal, current JLPT level, study frequency, date of birth, gender, phone number, location and interests — these steps can be skipped
Marketing consent: whether you agreed to receive email and SMS
Usage data: learning progress, XP, streaks, quiz and mock results, SRS reviews, saved words, achievements and certificates
AI tutor: your questions, the AI replies and your daily usage counts (Premium/Pro users)
Payment: which plan or bundle, amount, status and transaction ID — we never see or store card numbers, which the payment gateway handles
Technical data: device type, browser, IP address and logs — used for security, rate limiting and abuse prevention
Referrals: your referral code and the accounts that joined through your link

2. How is your information used?

To create and secure your account and keep you signed in
To track learning progress, run SRS review and personalise your study plan
To decide what your plan unlocks (free, Premium, Pro, Lifetime, mock bundles)
To process payments and manage subscriptions and bundles
To send transactional email (welcome, payment confirmation, expiry warnings)
To send marketing email or SMS where you consented — you can stop this at any time
To prevent abuse, such as multiple free accounts created to bypass AI limits
To analyse aggregate usage and improve the platform

We do not sell or rent your data, and we do not provide it for AI model training.

3. Third-party services

We rely on a small number of trusted service providers to run the site and improve the learning experience — for hosting and data storage, payment processing, sending email, video playback, generating AI tutor replies, and site usage statistics.

They receive only what is needed to perform that task, and your data is never sold or shared for unrelated advertising. Some providers operate outside Bangladesh, so using an account means accepting that your data may be transferred across borders.

4. Cookies

Essential: the login session cookie — the site cannot work without it
Preferences: language and light/dark theme cookies
Measurement: cookies for site usage statistics and ad measurement — these can be blocked in your browser or ad settings

5. How long we keep data

Account data: for as long as the account is active; removed on a deletion request
Free-account practice data: saving stops after the 21-day window, and that data may be deleted 30 days later; upgrading to a paid plan makes saving permanent
AI conversations: visible for a window set by plan — 7 days free, 30 days Premium, 90 days Pro
Payment records: kept as required for accounting and legal purposes
Logs: kept short-term for security and debugging

6. Data security

We protect your data with encryption, strict access controls and industry-standard security practices, and we limit who can see what. No online service is completely risk-free, but if a data breach occurs we will notify affected users.

7. Children's privacy

The service is not intended for children under 13, and use by a minor requires parental consent. If we learn that a child's data was collected without consent, we will delete it.

8. Your rights

Right to access or request a copy of your data
Right to correct inaccurate data (also editable from your profile page)
Right to request deletion of your account and data
Right to opt out of marketing email or SMS at any time
Right to decline the optional onboarding questions

9. Policy changes and contact
